Tembusu offers small-group and private study programmes for adults in their forties and fifties who want to think clearly about household finances, retirement income, and the years ahead.

II. WHY TEMBUSU
What Sets Our Approach Apart
Small Groups by Design
Groups are kept deliberately small — twelve for the Money Map, fifteen for the Income Years — so every participant has real space for questions and quiet reflection.
Plain Language Throughout
Course materials are written without jargon and accompanied by a glossary. Reading lists are suggested, not required. The pace suits those who prefer to absorb material before forming a view.
Singapore-Specific Content
All content is grounded in Singapore's regulatory environment — CPF rules, local estate law, MAS-regulated instruments, and the practical realities of a Singapore household.
Unhurried, Structured Study
Sessions are timed for the working adult — Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings — with materials distributed in advance so participants can read at their own pace before each meeting.
No Product Sales, No Commissions
Tembusu earns its fees from participants only. Nothing is sold, recommended for a commission, or tied to any financial institution. The programmes exist to inform, not to distribute.
Qualified Educators, Not Salespeople
Every session is led by educators with backgrounds in financial planning, law, or tax — not by product advisers. Participants leave with knowledge, not a product folder.

III. QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
Who are these programmes designed for?
Adults in their forties and fifties who want a structured, unhurried way to understand their household finances. No prior knowledge is assumed. The programmes are also suitable for those who studied financial planning some years ago and want to revisit it with fresh eyes.
Are these programmes regulated by MAS?
Tembusu's programmes are educational in nature and are not financial advice under the Securities and Futures Act. We do not manage money, sell products, or hold a capital markets services licence. Participants who wish to act on what they learn should consult a licensed adviser.
What is the difference between the three programmes?
The Mid-Life Money Map is a four-week introduction, suitable for those starting or revisiting financial planning. The Income Years Curriculum is a deeper ten-week programme for those closer to the end of their working years. The Legacy and Loved-Ones track is a private, individually tailored set of sessions for those thinking about estate matters, family conversations, and long-term household administration.
How do I know which programme suits me?
We are happy to speak with you before you register. A short phone or email conversation is usually enough to identify the right fit. There is no pressure to commit, and we do not follow up with unsolicited calls.
What are the session times and locations?
The Money Map meets on Wednesday evenings. The Income Years Curriculum runs on Saturday mornings. The private Legacy track is scheduled at times convenient to the participant. Sessions are held at our Tanjong Pagar premises and occasionally at partner venues in the CBD area.
Can couples attend the same programme together?
Yes. Couples are welcome in all group programmes and are particularly encouraged for the Legacy and Loved-Ones private track, where household decisions are most naturally made jointly. Each participant registers and pays individually for the group programmes.
What is the cancellation and refund arrangement?
A full refund is available for cancellations made at least seven days before the first session. Cancellations made within seven days of the start date are eligible for a credit toward a future cohort. Please contact us directly and we will handle it without difficulty.
